Within the community there are many restaurants and activities. These range from exploring the marina town to the ocean. We recommend attractions outside of the town as well such as Xcaret, Xplor, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum. These trips are less than a thirty minute drive away.
Xcaret
Tulum is known for its beautiful beaches and rich history. While visiting Tulum you can go on tours of the ancient Mayan city, which is fun for people of all ages.
Casa Las Garzas is located in a small gated marina community, just an hour drive from the Cancun Airport.

The eco archaeological park, Xcaret, is a great place to go for people of all ages. Activities include, but are not limited to: tours of butterfly caves, snorkeling, swims through underground rivers, zip lining, and a celebration of color and light which goes through the history of the Riviera Maya.
Playa del Carmen is a busy town, just a half hour drive away from the house with many fun things to do. During the day there are many shops, art boutiques, beaches, and restaurants for breakfast and lunch. During the night the town is alive with bright lights, dancing, bars, street performances, and restaurants. There are also movie theaters nearby.

The house is ideal for work from home, since it has two modems that provide high speed internet so multiple people can work with confidence knowing that if one system goes out there is another independent high speed internet ready to go.
